Hello there,

Anyone ever buy one of these things and if so how well did it work?

I see lots of different kinds on the web from pen and sensor type to full tablet
to small tablet, and all prices from about 40 dollars up to over 1000 dollars!
I'll probably be in the 100 dollar range or less.

Comments/Suggestions?

Thanks.

I used a Wacom Bamboo series older model MTE-450 that was a pen model and it actually worked pretty well. Some of the newer Bamboo models are pretty cool (pen & touch). Anyway, they can be found here. NewEgg carries the line and this link shows several with pricing.

Overall the little one I still have here worked well when I was messing with it. I was using it experimenting with putting signatures on forms.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the info.

One thing i was wondering is, do you have to write real slow or just a little slow when you are say signing
your name or something like that?

Hi Ya MrAl

No, when writing on the tablet I just write normally. Funny because I never gave it much thought. I used it as part of a project where an employee would perform a calibration, enter the data on a form and then affix a signature & date in a text box on the form. The thing should be lying around here somewhere.
