Interested in running a hard disk speed test program?

Post by MrAl »

Hello,

I have created a hard drive speed test program a while back and
have done some speed tests with it on my system and other
systems.

What i was wondering is if people here would be interested in
running this program and reporting back the information that
it provides? I would like to build up a small data base of
hard disk speeds. I would also need to know your processor
speed and type and what type of RAM you are using,
and of course hard disk type, size, and maybe manufacturer,
and how much space is free.

The program is free of course and is only 134kB long.

I wrote the program myself so i know it's virus free, and
I can supply CRC32 checksum data and MD5 data if desired.

I would need an email address to send it to i guess if you
want to read it.

Thanks...
