I am trying to connect with parties who are adapting a (Red or Discoverer) Roomba to become an autonomous robotic platform. The idea is to be able to add functionalities to the unit (with brushes removed).

its a robotic floor sweeper...small flat saucer shaped sweeper that randomly goes about the room all day sweeping.. its got some intilligents to it,,but i cannot explain it.. but it cost wayyy too much...its a rich persons toy. "Home Cheapo"
sold it for a while.it was over 400.00 then.

i mounted this on my roomba, along with the irobot programming dongle, and basic II stamp
It has really expanded the roomba's sensing capabilities
