Hi. I'm new here. I'm in the process of gathering components to build a line follower, using "Robot Building for Beginners" as a guide. I want to use this as a project in a high school electricity class that I teach. I would also be interested in other easy (inexpensive) projects that can be built from scratch.
Thanks
line follower
Re: line follower
I built a line following robot in college... it did other things as well. Line following can be a great experience. First off, do you want to do a digital or analog setup... if you are teaching a class I would recommend both! By doing so, you will be able to see the advantages of analog over digital. Here is a link to my robot... the link shows how the robot was built.

and here is a link that shows my line following sensors...

Some potentiometers to adjust the amount of error you have.. anyway.. let me know if that helped. Good luck.
