Hello, i had this idea and i was wondering if someone could give me some advice on how to accomplish it.
I would like to create a digital recording, like you would find on various keychains, or childrens toys (ex:tickle me elmo). The recording can be short, i just have no idea how to go about doing this, as i know nothing of electronics.
Also i would like it to be powered by a potato. What do you guys think?
Any and all who can help me, will recieve their very own "potato-bot" free of charge in the mail.
What parts do i need?
Where do i get the parts?
And how do i put it together?
Thanks in advance.

A company called Winbond (www.winbond-usa.com) makes this type of chip. They may have distributors which will sell small quantities.

your first problem is how to get ample power from a potatoe. I recall various articles about generating power from a potato by using dissimiliar metals stuck in it The queston is, is there enough to drive a transducer? Maybe several small potatoes in series or you could slice one up and insulate the slices from each other to make a potatoe pile battery.
