OK so if R/C planes have a certain frequency then why would it be wrong to use an R/C plane controller? And 802.11b is set aside for networking purposes, telephone or LAN, so why would you use something that has so much interference in the air already? If the FCC has so much to say about how you use your R/C plane controller, why don't they require a pilots license or some other certification to be able to use that frequency? I think it is just fine to use the R/C plane controller. Just use it with caution and NEVER near a HAM FEST or a R/C plane club, they might get a little ticked off about that but as long as you stay on your turf you should be safe.
