I recently read a book on the subject or more like a sci-fi book about the use of wireheading by a female. Instead of stick on electrodes they had a plug in the head but they almost had a patent on an inductance method in the time frame of the book(1994 to 1999). It was called Mindkiller by Spider R...

The Venturi one lasts thousands of charges whereas the telsa only lasts 500.Maybe one day some one will think to put the good batteries in the good car. Venturi - "Its Ni-MH battery packs takes five hours to charge on outlet power. Solar panels in the roof can add up to 7 km (4 miles) a day whe...

  :) I used to think capacitors were different from batteries bacause they didn't explode or diminish in value (volts and amps) like batteries. So using them for an electric car is the same as saying "hey now they hold a charge just like a battery". Technically the volts and a...

I'm not an instruction site for these things as I am experimenting myself. I could help if you were more specific as to the problem but you do need to be familiar with motor or transformer windings.

 I built some nimh batteries that didn't work so good but after finding the problem i think i can make some that work good. I'm an artist so I don't have the workshop or equipment I think I need. I don't try to make them any more because of this lack of equipment. Check out my web site at htt...

   Okay so I agree that sounds nice , an electric car that goes from 0 to 60 that fast , but on lithium batteries. Did any one ever here of nickel metal hydride batteries getting recalled. The ones used for Dell computers being recalled are lithium. It makes me think there is a pr...

Re: Fluorescent Lamp Inverter

It sounds like the problem I had with my transformers heating too much. They have a normal operating temperature so I kept them running until I noticed they charged up like a battery. So the lighting tube acts like energy and feedback to the ballast makes it heat up. Maybe use bigger components to h...

Re: 12V nominal voltage?

Nominal voltage is the mean power or rated power. To get 2500mah for example the current is so much and the volts are so much and it works out to 1.2 volts instead of 1.5 volts on those little batteries.

Re: Neurones, nerves more...

Sometimes a person is known to be someone with a one track mind and so needs ideas or something. I was thinking this would be like putting another track on a recording or accepting rf interference. Just an idea.

Re: NiMH cells go dead on shelf too quickly

A battery shouldn't self discharge because that's like making them so they don't give as much talk time.

Re: Making hydrogen from water & DC

Try thinking of a lead acid battery for your first sentence as there is DC applied to it it produces a strong alkali or battery and fortunately it does not produce hydrogen or the battery would explode. Then the same principal is applied to dry cells whereas it would be nice if they did not explode....

Re: lead acid battery theory question

The battery charges up when the substance of the battery is re-polerized or infused with a new memory. However like alkaline ones sometimes explode and leak the fresh infusion is a little off or different from the original. This could cause a clash resulting in ruining the battery or a improvement. ...

The little robots could make recordings and use them in the off season if you could bring the plot to something like a replicator. And change the field to strawberries or kiwi or something not so earth like as a lemon battery.

Re: Can I charge SLA batteries with an Alternator?

On my last reply I should have mentioned that I was using a battery charger that charges most types without switching anything. I didn't mean for some one to try that with an off the shelf charger as it might damage one of the batteries. But it works with certain types of capacitors only I doubt the...
