Re: Of some interest!

Indeed, wood dust/chips have been used to vary the properties of concrete!

As for that wire stripper, might contract with a local metal recycler to strip the miles of insulated wire they get in.

Re: Energy problem solved!

You're on the right track dacflyer! Dunno about your locality, but up here in the dreary north, I'm thinking dollar-for-dollar that I may be better off with a wind generator rather than solar. 24/7 when the wind blows, which is almost always.

Voice-operated winch

Any simple voice-activated relay closure circuits out there? Mounted an electric winch on the lawn tractor to raise and lower the snowplow. With steering, throttle, and push buttons to raise or lower plow, I run out of hands. Looking for a microphone and voice commands to close contacts from the com...

Re: Anyone here ever mess with UPS's ( back up power supplies )

Add an autotransformer (Variac) to get your 120 VAC.
Probably more trouble than the UPS's are worth.

Re: Need 36v charger or PS.

How about 3 12-volt Deep Cycle batteries and a charge controller? Charge the 12's individually.

Re: Ahooga!

I've used those RF modules, and the $12 receiver/transmitter fob (including battery!) has the option of momentary, toggle, or latch with a single button. Nice job though, getting your one second delay from a cap!

Powder coating power supply

Anybody play with powder coating? I have one with a small high voltage module that takes 120 VAC and outputs (technically) 11,000 volts. Unknown current, probably milliamps. This one has zero output, and the manufacturer says it'll be months before they have any more modules in stock. It's fully enc...

Re: Structures

Welcome, rash-
That's a common question, on everybody's mind lately.
If yours is regarding the blivit data structure, you'll find the inverse logarithmic recursive function applies, while the data structure of the n-th dimension requires compliance with asymmetrical contrasting cardinal grammeters.
