I used to own the call WA2RBA, but US Air Force came along, and never got back to it. Spent many a sleepless night on 20 meters looking for that long distance DX contact! Italy was the longest contact. Maybe get back to it someday! It's a terrific community, especially for do-it-yourselfers!

From the diagram, you're also running the cable through the Surge Protector power strip. That's a no-no, as a Spectrum tech removed mine as causing all sorts of interference in my whole neighborhood. Sure, not all Surge Protector strips are equal, just a word of warning.

Win 10, using Chrome. I've been away for a few months, but have the logon problem lately. It is as the OP describes. I have to logon while I am already logged on, but to reply, must logon again.

Swinging Sticks
Would like to build one of these, but don't know where to start designing the circuitry as described in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWg6TG2bkFU The circuit fires a coil depending on the presence of a Neo magnet in one of the sticks. Hall effect sensor, I presume. But, not every time....
