I agree with mike, I have tried different methods of making pcbs having best results with the laser printer method.

The output transistors check out ok, I took them out of the circuit to check them, so on to the next step.

Are these mosfets, Large k on top then D718 when I google for it I get conflicting stuff, on one search I came up with a cross reference 2sb688 which is a pnp power transistor but others have eluded to mosfets. thanks

help with MPA-45 pa amp

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get a schematic for a MPA-45 35 watt P.A. amplifier from radio shack, every time I turn it on the main fuse blows, I would like a schematic before I start working on it but if I cant get one then I will try anyway, thank you.

Take a look at radio shack part number 276-720 heres the link sound chip <p>Or you could try this one recorder <p>There are many more at various places on the web that sell kits.<p>I hope this helps, I dont know of an easy way to play back mp3s without an mp3 player or a computer,any one else??

Thanks for the response, I have it working now but with a 7 amp 12 volt supply which is to large to fit in the space available, I will try a 1 amp 12 volt supply tomorrow.

Do they make a chip that behaves like a rotary encoder that latches? where you could say switch between Xnumber of outputs by putting pluses on the input pins?
