Re: Generator Question
Does the generator's engine lose speed when the pump is trying to start? Do you know if the generator has an electronic voltage regulator? The vast majority of generators are electronically regulated nowadays. I would be suspicious of the regulator if it's electronic. I have a generator and it's ele...

Hi, I have a Novatel MC727 internet stick for my internet service. I bought it in August of 2009 and it has worked trouble free until early June this year. At my house, I have always had 3 bars out of 5 for signal strength. In early June, the signal started to jump back and forth between 1 bar and 3...

Re: electric fence noise interference problem...
Most common failure is the SCR shorts out. Occasionally the damper diode will short. Also occasionally the charging capacitor loses capacity or opens. On battery powered units, the switch transistor for the oscillator fails occasionally. It's also common for these units to get hit by lightning as fe...

Re: electric fence noise interference problem...
Hi, A modern electric fence charger works by charging up a capacitor typically with a rating of 20 to 30 uF 900 VDC and then using an SCR to dump the charge into the primary of a step up pulse transformer to produce a pulse of several thousand volts which is then applied to the fence. The units can ...

Re: no tv picture
Hi, What make and model of tv? This is a very common trouble with the rca ctc203 chassis. If this is what you have, locate the B terminal of the horizontal output transistor and follow it back to a very small coil with wire about the thickness of a human hair. Resolder both leads of this coil regard...
