Okay that adds some clarity, thanks.<p>I will definetly be able to help you out. Re: help with LCD interfacing !!!!
I've noticed the link below, and found it a really interesting article:<p> http://www.e-insite.net/ednmag/archives/1998/021698/04di.htm#PIC plots pixels <p>The part about displaying sensor data: First you need to decide what your graph is going to represent, assuming it will be a graph. You need to ...

Re: Chess Clock Project
I do have plenty of prototyping resources, power supplies, and a fairly good DMM.<p> Code will be done in assembler, because I like the interface as opposed to basic or C.<p>Unfortunately, ordering the multiplexing IC is not an option for me. My parents won't allow me to spend any more money, becaus...

Chess Clock Project
NOTE: This is a long post. To sum it up, I need some help with PIC code. If you can't help in that area, you don't need to read it all (but you still can!) Just warning you in advance so you don't get aggrevated with the length...<p>I am currently starting a new project, a Chess Clock for, well, che...

Re: heated bobbers
Never been ice fishing before, so I don't know how far you have to walk to your spot from where you park. What about carting out a 12V gel cell to where you are fishing? You could put it on a sled and push or pull it there if you have to walk far. That might solve a few of your power problems, if it...

Re: wireless tv monitor
You can buy one of those little B&W portable TVs for like $15. Mine have 1/8" 2-conductor audio jack inputs for the antenna, and I run the composite and audio signals through a video modulator ($10, creates a channel 3 or 4 signal from composite and audio), and run that through a F-con. co-...

Re: pic serial data
I abandoned a project I was working on about a year ago, a high speed long-range data network, because i lacked the knowledge. <p> I do know TI makes a chip that will recieve digital serial data, modulate it, and output an amplifier-ready digital data stream to be broadcasted. I'm not sure the speci...

Re: components
If anyone is willing and has some extra parts, I could greatly use some! I am a high school student and have been studying electronics for a while now. Unfortunately, I am lacking funds to support my hobby (need to save for a car...) Anything would help, absolutely anything. I am most in need of mis...
