When I went to electronet I got hit by a number of advertisements. I tried several times but could not find any thing about infrared circuits or detectors. Can anyone direct me to site to learn about the infrared detectors used on yard lights? thanks to all how responded to my initial inquiry. Paul

driveway sensor

I recently purchased a device to notify me if someone entered our driveway. It worked for 6 days and quit. I had another brand before but it was unreliable but lasted a little longer. I want to be able to detect automobiles or ones on foot. I have hardwire capability to the driveway. Any ideas? Than...

battery cables

I recently purchased a 1970 Ford truck. The ends of the cables going to the battery had been removed and replacement ends clamped on the 2/0 copper conductors. Individualwires in conductors are dull and I suspect would offer a high resistance to current flow. Is there a way of cleaning the conductor...

Re: radio scanner memory

Thanks Edd for your reply. I did not check the 9 volt batteries I took out to see if completely discharged or not. Will try that and also put a meter in the battery circuit. Before the problem I have now I don't recall changing the battery more that 2-3 times in 10-15 years! Now with the radio turne...
