Oreck Vacuum Cleaner

Oreck is advertising a vacuum cleaner that uses UV-C Technology. It costs about $600.00. The ad says that it will destroy many viruses, bacteria, mold, and dust mite eggs. I have a grand daughter that is 6 months old and ready to start playing on the carpets. Would this be a good investment? Thanks ...

Iomega 250 drive

Iomega 250 ATAPI internal drive. I am trying to find a driver for this drive to use with DOS. I have tried the Iomega site, everything seems to be for windows. I have tried driveguide and several other sites without having any luck.
Thanks, Edwin

The batteries will stay in the tractor. It has an electric motor that powers it. The model I have is an E 12. I don't remember whether the electric motor is supposed to be a 12 horepower or they rated them to do the same work that a 12 horsepower gas engine. I have not used it in years, but with the...

The 36 volts power source would be 6 6 volt golf cart batteries. They are on a GE lawn/garden tractor. I could tap onto 2 for 12 volts. The reason I was wanting to use 36 volts, I have read on some of the forums that it is not good to discharge some of the batteries more than the others. I have read...

It would be a 2000 watt inverter running a 1800 watt motor. Would the transformer be the best solution?

Thanks

What type of a circuit would be needed to run a 12 Volts DC to 120 volts AC inverter from a 36 volts DC source?

Remote reading may not be accurate. I used to read propane meters and tank gauges. The propane people said when opening the dome on the tank to let the dome bang into the tank because it was possible the
gauge could be stuck and by banging on the tank would free it.

Don't use table salt, it will kill it dead!!!!!. Use Epson Salt, put all in it that it will hold, then add enough water to disolve the salt. Distilled water will be best.

Does anyone remember what issue of N & V had the instructions on how to determine which bulb is bad in a string of Christmas lights?

You need to also clean the pins on the lamps that make contact in the fixture.

Re: Delco Truck Radio

The battery is not over 6 months old, the top is clean. The under hood lamp is cold, also don't light with the hood open. Pressed the recall button several times, don't seem to be stuck.
Probably will try pulling the radio fuse.
Thanks
