Free 16 pin dip sockets & eproms 27c256
Hi All, If you want some, email me and I'll send you my address. You send me a self addressed bubble mailer with 4.00 postage on it. I have hundreds of new sockets and a thousand used eproms of various numbers. of course you have to erase the eproms to use them. *While supplies last* Take care, Paul

Re: Wireless trigger
I just found a great deal on a wireless doorbell with a 200 foot range at menards for 8.00.
It comes with a transmitter battery and the lit says it should last for up to 2 years. Pin 12 of the 4069 puts out a pulse to trigger a flip flop or whatever. Excellent all around hackable cheapie.

Re: Wireless trigger
Mike, I have also been experimenting with a 1 bit tx/rx and although I got it to work, it's alot harder than I thought to get any dependable range. Try these sites for ideas: http://www.commlinx.com.au/models.htm http://www.ajpotts.fsnet.co.uk/Circuits.html http://www.geocities.com/tomzi.geo/1-trans...

Re: A great new, easy and cheap PCB design
The ferric chloride will not dissolve the paper. You should just let the board soak in warm soapy water longer. Paper is just wood fiber and clay pressed together. Water will dissolve it. Try using your kitchen sprayer on it with hot water after it soaks for a while. Works for me every time. Somethi...

Just a thought,

series wound starter motors
I have rewired a Japenese auto starter motor for seperate field/armature sourcing. It allows me to drive it with an h bridge to reverse the rotation. However, it is hard to couple to the project and draws lots of current. My question to the group is: Does anyone have a specific make or model number ...

Re: need inexpensive linear motion
I would use the 12V motor and leadscrew out of an electric automobile seat obtained from a local auto recycler. There are usually 2 or more motors in each seat and are capable of producing gobs of tourque and thereby pounds of pressure.

Cherry Master Graphics
If possible... I am trying to change the graphics on a cherry master gaming board which uses a z80 processor. I have read all of the eproms (8), but need a few pointers on where to turn next. I have identified the three eproms for color, three for characters and at least one for the program. Is ther...
