Re: Program to clean-out Macromedia flash player

Gentlemen...Thank you for your replies. Sorry I have been late responding, but I had some vertebrae fused in my neck and have not been feeling up to par. Re PDF readers I have been using a reader called "soft expansion". It is from a company in Germany. It is a wonderful program. It will n...

Re: Program to clean-out Macromedia flash player

Hi Itx71cm!! I have tried everything & nothing seems to work. I have tried the uninstaller. There are no Adobe or Macromedia programs listed in the programs file. The only way I can find any Macromedia files is to go to the search function in XP and search. The only two folders that show up are ...

Program to clean-out Macromedia flash player

Does anyone know of a program to clean-out the Macromedia flash player in it's entirety, including the registry? I want to down load the latest version of the flash player, but it says to delete the current version. Easier said than done. When I search for Macromedia(in the search function in Win XP...

Re: OT: Computer Virus Forum?

Bob... If I recall correctly the "ESET Nod 32" Antivirus web site has a free virus scanner & removal service. I have used ESET for about 5-1/2 years now and I have never been hit with a virus. That is the only av,anti spam, anti spyware and e-mail protection software I have. If I recal...

Plantronics wireless phone "PSTN" adapter

Good morning everyone! I have a Plantronics mod# CS55. I want to turn it into a mod# CS55H. As far as I can tell the only difference is that the CS55H has what is called a "pstn" adapter. It has 3 leads emitting from it. One lead is an RJ11 which plugs into the regular wall phone jack. the...

Re: Bose speaker mosfets

Hi everybody! Here is the website that I got my info re the mosfets. http://www.zr1netregistry.com/Bose2.pdf . I hope this link works. The board pictured in the article looks almost exactly like the one I have. I am going to run with his information and order the parts he suggests to replace. Of cou...

Re: Sorting Excel 203

Josey...I was not aware that you could "sort" anything in Excel. Access can be sorted. If you want to fill every cell in Excel you would go to the "EDIT' function in the tool bar and it will allow you to fill the columns, rows or cells either up, down, left or right, but you must sele...

Re: Bose speaker mosfets

Hi again Externet & Bob Scott!! Thank you for your responses! I got the info re the TIP41 off the net, from a company that supposedly repaired Bose equipment. He said that "there is no "good" replacement for the Bose xistor/mosfet and that he had a lot of units come in with the TI...

Bose speaker mosfets

Hi everybody! I am trying to repair the left rear speaker amplifier for a 1966 Infinity I30 for a good friend of mine. There are 4 mosfets on the board with the markings of "A415" "137110" on them. They are made by STMicroelectronics. Bose will sell me a new(rebuilt?) amp for aro...

Re: faulty GFCI still supplies power

I won't buy a GFCI unless the package says it meets NEC 2008 standards. I buy them at Lowes. All the ones at HD do not carry that notice. Some of the newer ones cannot be reset unless the "offending device" is unplugged. I still do not understand how they actually work. I have read that th...

Re: Using a 32V fuse holder with 120V?

i would not use it unless you want to give your insurance company a reason not pay for your house if it burns down. They will look for any reason to not pay. You may want to check the fine print of your life insurance policy.

Take care all

Re: Best way to make very large hole in cabinet

Mr.AL...Yes I have used it before. If you are interested I can tell you how to do it. I have used routers to cut .032" ferrous up to .250" alum. material. You have to make multiple downward cuts & use kerosene or steelwool as a lubricant. Everybody tries to kill it in one pass. The sec...
