3 prong Philips? Tampering with the tamper proof?

I have a battery pack that I want to open up. To get things apart I need to unscrew some small screws. However, the screws are a bit unusual. They are sort of like Philips screws. But instead of having a 4 pronged cross, the screw head has a symmetric 3 pronged pattern ...old dudes, think peace sign...

VX-7R Symptoms

Hey Gang - Have any of you had the battery of a VX-7R completely die? What are the symptoms? I mean, does a dead battery prevent the VX-7R from displaying the Now Charging message? My radio no longer displays that message (or Charge Complete) and the battery pack is inexplicably dead. Is anyone will...

Smart Cloth http://web.media.mit.edu/~rehmi/fabric/ Wearable computers can now merge seamlessly into ordinary clothing. Using various conductive textiles, data and power distribution as well as sensing circuitry can be incorporated directly into wash-and-wear clothing. This paper describes some of ...

Perhaps, but then we still have the em radiation to think about.
This would represent a loss too.
Well....if there is any radiated energy then the second cap doesn't get charged to the full value....

Why can't the entire capacitor be made from superconductor?

Hi again cato, Well, if you have infinite current for an infinitely short period of time (0) you have (if you recall) an 'impulse', which only exists in pure theory, not in real life. Im not sure what you mean by "Oscillation has nothing to do with it". I was talking about the case where ...

...which explains by the way..... why in the real world...SWITCHING power supplies are 80-90% efficient.

Will: the case with the inductor means a perfect oscillator, and the case of one cap we cant charge one cap without also charging the other too so we cant even do the experiment. On the lighter part of your reply: ha ha. I hope that doesnt happen though if i try this he he :) Al Oscillation has not...

Can't have infinite current?.....pfff...they used to say we couldn't have super conductors.....now you can buy them on the internet: http://www.oxinst.com/wps/wcm/connect/Oxford+Instruments/Products/Superconductive+Wires/Bronze+Nb3Sn/Nb3Sn-Bronze# :-p besides..... if you have infinite current, you o...

Even with a lossless conductor, you will still have inductance, which, with the capacitors, forms an LC resonator which can radiate the energy. It can't resonate if you open my super conducting "switch" after the initial transfer of charge (or after the first have cycle)..... now where di...

Whats moving the post? What kind of accuracy are you after? What would you like to use if you had a choice? What kind of budget do you have? Someone else suggested this a few psts up but beam break would probably be the the cheapest and most simple. There are a few tricks you could use but I would ...

With a charged cap we have U = 1/2 C (Vsquared) ....jeez with the fancy new board, you'd think we could have superscripts..... assuming the second cap is the same value and they are connected by a super conductor..... the capacitance doubles and the voltage is cut in half (as I recall...somebody che...
