Re: Need help with a circuit

Thanks for the response, sorry about getting back been real busy, I tried your suggestion an you were right, the switch is slow and it has a delay when it turns back on. Do you have any suggestions where I could find a Schmitt Trigger circuit,

Thanks

Need help with a circuit

I am a nubee to electronics, what I am trying to do is when I close the switch D1 will light up and it will turn off D2, but I want to is when I open the switch back up it will D1 will stay on for a couple of seconds then it will turn off and turn on D2 again, is this possible with this circuit? Tha...

Re: Mini variable Inverter?

Yes it is an inductive load, also I have the power resistors on 8 inch heat sinks.

Re: Mini variable Inverter?

This is the circuit that I am using now, how this works is R2 acts like a governor and R1 adjust the voltage, problem is the circuit is rather sensitive and I am either blowing out the 1n914 diodes or the darlington transistors. Also The darlington transistors get super hot I have them on a heat sink with a fan blowing on them.

Re: Mini variable Inverter?

What I was thinking of doing was using a variable dc power supply to control my voltage .

Re: Mini variable Inverter?

24 volts is the max voltage, most likely I would be be using this at 3-16volts. Really don't want to go the Variac rout.

Mini variable Inverter?

Would this be possible, I would like to build a low voltage inverter that would go 0 to 24v ac. I was thinking if I made a variable dc power supply circuit then invert it to AC voltage. Basically My question is if I invert DC to AC would I have to use a step up or step down transformer, and what wou...
