Digi-key sells relays that can handle 30A for a couple of bucks. I think they're TSA series from Omron.

philba, I saw a show on TV but very little is known right now. There was a low budget research project on it which discovered the magnitude of the phemomenon which will, no doubt, lead to more investigation. Part of the investigation was viewing all thunderstorm tapes from space. In these tapes they...

Hmmmmm. You guys speak of what's "wanted" and "unwanted" as if you speak for the entire forum. Well you don't. You only speak for yourself. As for what is KNOWN about what's wanted or unwanted, in this thread, it was a toroidal manufacturer in Canada. So maybe it's YOUR responses...

This is what cracks me up. this guy states EXACTLY what he's looking for
and gets 4 replies (and counting) for something else.
If you're going to reply to a post why don't you answer the question?
Do you not think this guy is capable of finding U.S. distributers without your help?
I don't get it.

'Splosions

I just connected a filter cap to a circuit that was a little underrated for the voltage. Nice bang. There's fluff on my 'puter screen and keyboard now. . Reminds me of the windstorm a few weeks ago. A narrow, swath of high intensity wind took down large trees and hydro poles. There was no twister to...

The lower right segment of a seven segment display is off only
when the digit is a "2". If you filtered out the multiplexing of that
segment on the tens of seconds display with an RC network you'd
end up with a 1 pulse per minute clock.
