No, I am not drunk! I can see that, the picture on those LCDs looks terrible! And once there is a movement you can see it smudged! I am not blind!

Re: Horizontal flicker on TV!?
Well, there are several flickers across the screen. It is not just a single line. It does not start right away but after a few minutes of running. Also, the TV is over 10 years old but the picture is certainly better then what you get from those LCDs or whatever the gov is pushing on you UNLESS you ...

Horizontal flicker on TV!?
So often, actually, more and more we get this horizontal flicker across our TV. It's a JVC 31" TV, AV-31BP6. This should be caused by a horizontal CAP, is that correct? Would anyone know which one or is there anything else involved?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: access email on Win2000 from WinXP?
You're correct! I started with MS Outlook and not with OE (my initial setup) and since I did not see it there I just followed thru without retracing it back and look for the Maintenance tab. I can see it there now.
Thanks much.

Re: access email on Win2000 from WinXP?
Finally I got it, it is a nightmare these MS emails! In W-XP there is no Maintenance tab and so I copied the files *.dbx, from W-2K, into the directory like you said, I used the MS directory. And in OE I created the names of the files that I want to import the messages to. Then I renam...

access email on Win2000 from WinXP?
Is there a way to access email on Win2000 from WinXP? Where would I find the email?
I forgot to say, the OSs are on one machine but different hard drives.

Re: Insignificant 1 Amp!?
OK, I found out as long there is another +12V rail with some Amps available then it will support the 18Amps needed.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Insignificant 1 Amp!?
My power supply is 500W and on the +12V rail it delivers 17A. On the video card it says I need on the +12V rail to deliver 18A!? I do have installed the video card and it is working now. I guess, I would need the full 18A if I would be putting lots of demand on the video card like playing some heavy...

Re: Faded LCD!
I took it apart and cleaned the connectors that go to the LCD and it works great now again. I do not think there is any warranty anymore on this one.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: don't resist!
I would include the *.jpg file showing the circuit but cannot do that or do not know how so here is the file you need to look in. It is the first schematic on the first page: NCP3065MNTXG.pdf To MrAl, reading the second paragraph I new what you talking about but still I need to make the resistor but...

Re: don't resist!
Well, They call these small resistances Rsence and they are not offered by suppliers unless I would want the resistor to be of a size nearly AA battery! These resistances are shown on some of the circuit boards and the size of the resistors is like a wheat grain! That is why I wondered if I can home...

Thanks.

driver for LCD display
I just replaced a AAA battery in one of those devices that displays inside temperature and outside temperature, I could switch that from F to C and also I could set it as clock BUT after the battery change I cannot see anymore the outside temperature. It defaults to LLL. So, I guess by changing the ...
