Ok,
B+K Precision send me a schematic, and a parts list.
But no prices.
Well I'll check it out, and see how bad it is.
{Hopefully it's not one of the transformers.}

B&K 467 CRT Tester & Restorer.....
I just pulled out the CRT checker to test the tube on a 13" television. And found that the heater voltage was missing after I connected it up to the CRT! :mad: This tester was made circa 1974! I can't find a schematic. And I've tried to find DYNASCAN CORPORATION. Or what company has taken it ov...

I don't think that true any more Bigglez. Granted, many of the old AT and first generation ATX Power Supplies only had the 5Vdc and 12Vdc rails to work with. Thus, mother boards of that vintage using the lower voltage CPU's. Had to put 3Vdc regulator on the mother Board. Now the 3Vdc as well as the ...

I'm more used to the old PC supplies where the +5V was the big supply and the +12 and -12 were more along for the ride with a LOT lower current/power capability. On modern machines (I don't do computers, so I'm ignorant here), what's the power hog that needs all that +12v juice? Dean If your lookin...

Hi Bigglez,
Have you looked at Superbrightleds.com?
http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm
They seem to have quite a few LED direct replacements for automobiles.
Also here's some info from National Semiconductor.

Re: 1N457 need equivalent
Hi guys, I can't seem to find this diode (1N457) or I have to buy a minimum of 150 pieces. I need it for a battery charger that I'm building, an equivalent diode would be great but I'm having trouble with that too. any help would be appreciated. Hi Artur, I've looked at that Schematic for the batte...

Hello again, Janitor: Hey, thanks very much for looking that info up. It's hard to find sometimes. I double checked your part number on the site and they seem to want (price) 1.99 for it, not 51 cents...is this right? $1.99 sounds about right for the customer. I've been buying parts, chemicals, and...

. Oh behold ye of little faith. . . . . .and, pray tell, kind Sire, what is the model number unit of that RCA VCR that you have, before you start parting it out. Those were quite good units, particularly with the speed and ease of time programming in its particular on screen layout formatting that ...
