Hi.
Good story.
Computer junk cases at your nearby computer service center often have the keylock electrical round key switches, usually $0... Canibalize.

Re: telephone line speaker

Hi Wayne.
Find any type of small transformer, a transistor radio output stage one, or a driver, or a small AC power adapter one.
Connect the lowest impedance winding of the transformer (usually the 8 ohm secondary) in SERIES to ONE of the two wires of the telephone line used by the speakerphone....

Re: Nuts&Volts magazine collectors ?

Thanks, Chris. The main N&V page does offer old issues sales, but none that old, my only resource is someone who keeps a collection. If you have some spare patience, would you please check in the 1992 issues? The index should be helpful. The bad part is I cannot remember the title, the issue dat...

Nuts&Volts magazine collectors ?

Hi. Re: Hold Button

Hi.
No misteries.
Connect a 200 ohm resistor across the telephone line and you will be able to hang up the handset and the line will hold.
After you pickup again, switch the resistor off the circuit.

Re: Blab Buster - Feb 2002

Hi Vince.
You should be able to use any other type of connectors if size is not a problem, just make them match your plugs.
Canibalizing discarded mainboards from your nearby computer repair center garbage can will supply suitable connectors if unavailable new.
Good luck,
Miguel

Hi. For your questions about the ion air cleaner, they may work, but all its sorroundings get dirt precipitation; I bought one, plugged onto the wall outlet, and the wall got blackened with deposits.
Well, the dirt has to go somewhere... It's like a cathode ray tube anode, sorrounded with the blac...
