If you are lucky and your lot is one of the rectangular ones oriented N-S/E-W, you could come off your neighbor's pin and travel due (NSEW) however many feet you need to go to get to your corner (from your neighbor's deed). From there you should be able to plot a course around the 90 degree corners ...

A buddy of mine is a heavy-equipment operator and uses a GPS-based system that directs him as to how he needs to set his dozer's blade (angle, depth, etc.) such that he can move earth without the need for surveyor's markers and such.
