Another motor question
I've seen small, compact, powerful yet brushless DC motors. What's the technology behing these babies? Anybody familiar?

parallel port .wav trigger
Anybody got any ideas of how to trigger .wav files based on a parallel port input? I'm need to trigger various .wav files based on external events, is this the way to go or does anybody have a better idea?

Re: multisim
I'v heard bad things about electronic worbench. Be careful if you are deciding on purchasing the full blown version. I think they limit the number of "pads" you can place on various versions. This they don't publicize much.

Re: Remote (portable) power supply for 24vAC cameras
Some are suggesting these cameras don't require an AC signal. While that may be true for newer cameras, my understanding is that older (and possibly still some newer) cameras use the AC signal for phasing. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe not.

Simplest beeper pulser
I'm trying to pulse a beeper at about 1HZ. Is there a really cheap and easy way to do this? It seems there should be but so far I'm using inverters.
I don't know but is it possible to do this with a PUT? Or an SCR?

Re: Remote (portable) power supply for 24vAC cameras
Hey man, go get a cheap, low power inverter 12V to 120AC, then plug one of your 24VAC transformers into that. Done.

Differential to referenced audio drive
I'm interested in using the chips that allow playback of audio available at digikey but...... They have a differential output into an 8 ohm load so for stereo you can't connect two outputs together to drive a common set of headphones. Anybody have a tweaky idea of how to drive a set of headphones wi...

Re: digital flash ram record and playback of sound
Thanks but that doesn't help much. I'm more interested in the interface portion. That is.......do I need special circuitry at the inputs and outputs or do I just sample the input using a DA converter and convert the output back the same way using an AD converter?

digital flash ram record and playback of sound
I'd like to know if anyone has expertise on digital record and playback of sound on flashram. I need the best quality I can get without going crazy on the price of a record/play unit. I need to know if I can just record directly using an AD converter or do I need buffering and filtering? Also on pla...
