Re: Need help with a circuit again
I had a 1 m pot that I pot in front of the 10k resistor, then I tried a 10k , 47k resistors, any thing larger than that the circuit wouldn't work or it would act funny.

Re: Need help with a circuit again
I breadboard that circuit last weekend, and it didn't work, depending on the resistance that I would set on the pot, the second light would stay on for maybe a couple of seconds, to much resistance and both lights would turn on real dim, then once I would turn of the switch the the second light woul...

Re: Need help with a circuit again
OK, The reason I thought that I needed to add a bigger capacitor is because when I changed it from a 22uf to a 10 uf capacitor the led stayed on for a 1/2 second .

Need help with a circuit again
This is a circuit the you guys have had helped out in the past, Its a Schmidt trigger , C1 determines the time the circuit will stay on until other led turns on, Right now the circuit has a 2 second delay. I was wondering if there was a way that I could incorporate a trim pot and a bleeder resistor ...

Re: Need help with a circuit again
One other thing, I was wondering if I could put the gate of the triac with the 1k resistor instead of the led, would that trigger the triac?

Need help with a circuit again
I was wondering if there was a way to add a sensitive gate triac to this Schmitt trigger circuit. D2 is normally on. Press S1 and D2 turns off and D1 turns on and stays on for two seconds after switch is released. What I would like it do is instead of turning on and off an led, is turning on and off...

Re: Need help with a circuit
I did the same thing but I couldn't find any circuits that would turn one light off and turn another light on, Im not really good at electronics, what I was really looking for is that the switch wasn't so sensitive and if there was a split second interruption it wouldn't switch the other light on.
