want brighter light... get a compaq flourescent light bulb...they give more light while using less power.... not dimmable tho...200 watt lamp only uses 36watts of power.. or less...

the regular pots only have 3 contact points..
and the taper pots have 4 contact points..
where does the 4th contact point get used? its located on oppsite side of pot and looks as if it might be a mid-point tap...????

no problem,,it had a smaller transformer in it before,, i replaced it with the beefier one i needed,,,barely fit in the box tho, but its all cool... made a bigger heat sink also just incase. i ran it hard for an 1 hr.. it barely got warm,but transformer was warm ,but not hot.. seemed normal as to an...

it looks like a tab thats dividing the resistance of the pot..

no , i was looking for software to just play
midi files... right now you must select each one to play in MPlayer.. i want to select several to play one after another automatically...just as a MP3 player would do with MP3's... not for web pages or nothing , just to play one after another...

radio shack sells a 20sec. digital voice recorder kit for about $20.00 all you do is add batteries and install the kit into what ever you want.. comes with battery holder , speaker , and buttons.. sounds decent too..<p>i'd like to find a program myself that plays midi files like a juke box,,, you kn...

it would take lots of leds to make any feasable light brighter than a night light...even with the traffic light leds i work with here...they use about 400+ leds in a unit...its good source of light, but doesn't give much else... so cost wise..you'd be better off with compaq flourescents...they do ma...
