I was going to also order the schematic from above for the $7.. can't go wrong, but your drawing looks good! thanks. wayne (oh yes, if its right, then I'm going to laminate it and g...

its hard to read the paper on the case, but it says that the RCA jacks are low impedance outputs, front and rear.. left and right.. so, both would be output connections for a couple of amps, unless they labled it incorrectly..? Hmm..... Alright.... That may be the case for those RCA Jacks. Lets con...

Great! Now we can get down to figuring out the wiring. Grab your ohm meter or DMM. Set it for ohms 0 to 100 range. Clip one probe end to the RED Wire. Clip the other probe to the Yellow Wire. If the meter shows nothing, or enfinity. Turn the Radio Power Switch ON. If the meter now reads zero, ...

Power group: Red + BLK - Yel memory/tape eject GRN power ant - NOT 100% sure, never had a power ant. Speaker group: BLU & GRY = 1st Channel BRN & GRN = 2nd Channel To figure out the RCAs, I would connect an AUX input to them (of a receiver or portable "boom box"), see if there is ...

On some of the wall warts I have pulled a part. Just to see why it had failed. They had a thermal fuse on the primary winding 105c. These fuses were covered up under the paper, or tape rapper. Making them hard to get at. But mostly I found that there was nothing on either side of the transformer win...

I found it. It's an HPL-118. It has 2 dual RCA leads dangling out. I used 1 pair of them to send the audio to my Fozgate power amp. I don't see a switch for an aux input on it. The built in amps were about 12 Watts/channel, I think. The main knobs were volume & treble, tuning & bass. Balanc...

I have a Concord AM/FM/Tape player... Here somewhere. I don't remeber the model number. It sounded great. Best FM reciever / tuner I ever heard. Sad part is the tape head died years ago. The radio still worked. Great, if you can find it. Check the model number. If it's one of the HPL series,...

Jan T "I didn't throw out my old 1989 ECG Cross Reference Guide. Thus, if it is a number that is in the ECG Cross. Then I can look up the electrical spec's, and find something of equal or better spec's to use as a replacement." You may already be aware of this but when you find that ECG n...

I did some more digging. www.Partstore.com Says that they have the RCA 174374 part for $2.95. But, I would take that with a grain of salt. These guy's said that they could get a Capstan Motor for me. Waited 3 months. I finally called them up, and spent 20 minutes trying to find out if they could act...

Re: Cross referencing RCA semiconductors

Hi, Which number does one use to cross reference an RCA semiconductor? The item in question is a transistor; RCA stock # 174374 and drawing # 1417405-004. This is the UHF prescaler Q103 in an MTT009 tuner in an RCA ctc 130 chassis. The transistor is noisy and emits horizontal white streaks in the p...
