Re: p.p.m to p.w.m conversion

I haven't actually tried this conversion on a stamp but just about anything on a stamp is easy.
It has commands like pulsein to read the length of the incoming pulse and pulseout to send the conditioned pulse to your amp.Use either math or a lookup table in between. It also has a pwm output but i...

Re: PIC or Stamp

You answered your own question when you said you want to program in basic. You can download the simple dos program to program a stamp in basic. It's not actually a compiler but somehow works with the internal programing of the stamp. All you need is this software and a cable which is easy to make.

Re: Help with simple diode circuit ???

I also believe that if I (current) were to somehow increase, Vdiode would increase which would mean that Vr would decrease. However if Vr decreases, then this would mean that I (current) would have to decrease.
This seems to be the hangup. YOu have to define the "somehow". In order for t...

Re: Multiple Speed Controls

First of all i'm assuming you mean ma (milliamps) not mah (milliamp hours)
A 10 ohm resistor will drop 3 volts at 300ma.
A 6 ohm resistor will drop 3 volts at 500ma.
They will use .9watts and 1.5 watts respectivly and should be sized accordingly.
Just put them in series with the load.

Re: TV pattern generator

A pattern genetator puts test patterns on a color tv screen for color tuning. Early color tv's had a panel of tuning coils to balance the colors across the screen. Fortunatly those days are gone. I can't think of much use for it now.
