You can teach yourself robotics. I'm sure other people on this forum will tell you about great kits you can buy and other great links. Try looking at Parallax for a start.

The website link is at: http://www.xogentechnologies.ca/
It's only a one-page website and does not really give out much info on their product.

The machine however, looks so unhigh-tech.

In an Nuts & Volts issue (December, 2002, #12), there was a really good flickering flame circuit in the Electronics Q & A on page 26. It used a combination a 555 timer "to produce the most realistic effect." If you want moe, I guess I can scan the page and send it to you if you don't have the issue.

I still haven't got my October issue and I live in California. It's either the mailman has troubles delivering it, or Nuts and Volts has had a delay in shipping.

On a forum that I administrate for, there is this feature where a user can Report (it appears as a button on every post that a user can click on) a post to moderators, thus having quick remova...

Your post has nothing to do with the thread topic so....

You could get a new account, you've only made 1 post so far. Having the ability to change your nickname could confuse people also.

I was also disappointed today to find that every category in this forum was covered in spam from people such as oftendgmibtoplez, etc. It's the weekends right now, and I think the Admin staff of this forum are off work and cannot delete these spam posts. Thus I think this forum needs people who oft...

Well, at least it's lighter than the battery in the electric Roadster a couple of threads ago. If I recall correctly, I think the battery in there was 1,000 lbs.
