heres a even better idea,, if you can find a fairly good size computer fan 4-6-8" they are great and use very little power,,and a small 5-10 watt panel..( i found a nice 10 watt panel at Harbor Freight Tools for $19.95 ) and the comp fan ( muffin fan ) you could find at a electronics shop or flea ma...

i been wondering the same thing too...<p>the guy that mentioned the rf lighting a neon bulb,,impossible to do using a cell phone,, not enough rf power to do so..<p>anyway i am tempted to but one of them light thingies and crack it apart to see what makes it tick,,, i am beliving that the LED gadget ...

ok, i tried that with the leds,, no good,, it is some kind of circuitry in them tiny things,, because the lights blink in a pattern and sometimes randomly.. so i'll keep looking<p> lit up shoes,, i have seen some and gotten the units out of them,,lol<p>basically they are 3v lithium battery and a cen...

how does it work ? is there a small coil inside that acts like a transformer? to produce the energy ? anyone got a schmatis of it?<p>i love light and other flashy things..

cell phone antenna light thingies

anyone got any info on these light that attach to cell phone antenna on these new phones.. i looked at some, but they use no batteries, and theres no electrical connection to the antenna mount,, it just screws on the phone,, is RF making it light? they are neat looking red / blue / green / yellow bl...

Hmmm, funny i been dimming neon for many years now, it can be dimmed quite a bit before it actually does extinguish, i have dimmed neon as much as 75% , usually i have a higher rated voltage transformer,than needed ,also the footage of neon is a factor too..too much neon and it will not dim much at ...

i am not just using neon i am using other lights as well , also you say neon doesn't need a transformer...then how do you explain getting 120v steped up to 7.5kv - 15kv then ? i also make neon too, so i am up to par on that, i know they make switching supplies for them too, but still it is a step up...

thats alright, but won't help for dimming purposes<p>the controller that controls the triac pac
has many functions...flashing / dimming etc.
its got many patterns as well as one of the best color organs i've ever seen.except here they call the color organ a audio processor... thanx anyway.

the shaft that held the centrifical weights in place,, the casing is worn out, and will not hold the shaft no more...maybe i might decide to use this engine on a go-cart Hmmmm

oh boy,, what a can of worms..lol this engin i have looks like either a wisconsion or a techumsie... ( for give spelling errors please ) it is an old cast iron block engine rated about 5-7HP.i might have to opt for a home made mechanical version... but i see no room under the starter / flywheel hous...
