Re: High Power Ultrasonics

My friend lives in Pinehurst NC. This is a town that is built into the forest. so she has this issue of deer invading her many gardens in her back yard, the deer would blatantly walk up in the yard, look in thru the big windows, and eat all her flowers and garden stuff.. she's tried all kinds of stu...

Re: I'm Starving here....

now days, if it isn't built to fail, then the factories won't make any money.. what is today's technology, is tomorrows trash. Look at all the electronic parts now days..they are all china made modules, there is hardly no one that sells off the shelf parts any more. it's all modules or micro process...

Re: 4G LTE Interference on OTA Antenna TV

I quit grounding my antennas.. every time i've had one grounded, it'd usually get fried by nearby lightning,, and i've have 2 cb antennas blown apart. But ever since i stopped grounding them, i have never had another one get fried in the last 20 yrs. I know grounding is supposed to safeguard things....

Re: Charging lithium ions

i think i found what will be useful to me,, found a few nice meters. one is an 8s balancer meter, and another is like a watt meter, good for up to 55V, and and i been reading up on active balancing v/s passive balancing. Active balancing seems to be the better method. I'll be shopping around now for...

Re: Question about Fast adaptive charging

Ok, I've tested a few other devices, my buddy got a new phone with the new micro-c usb, the device actually works. with it,, i'm surprised
and his normal charger is lower power than my original charger,,,but this usb charger won;t work with my phone,, it'll only slow charge it.
doesn't make sense.

Re: Possible solution!

My ladder makes the same noises when i'm driving down the road on cold days (transporting it)
it only does it when i am driving over 30mph, and the faster i go the louder it gets.

Re: electric fence made from a microwave transformer.

Microwave transformers are very lethal and once they draw an arc, they will consume very high current and trip a breaker and most likely set things on fire.. you want something that is low current, and lower voltage. If you are too cheap to buy a fence charger, and want to build your own, use someth...

Re: I'm Starving here....

Here's another funny I did today, i was scraping a front loader Samsung VRT style washing machine. I'll never buy a front loader, they get so nasty inside, it's a mold factory.. Anyway, as i was removing the drum from the backshaft, it was a horrifying sight, it looked like a corroding ship under se...

Re: I'm Starving here....

Man, that video is so fake..... I picked over a dozen things that were fake about it..random poking around the yolk with the Iron for 1, and scrubbing off all the material off the back of the tube, and then there's no HV Anode lead on the Flyback transformer. and what are the chances that there were...

Re: Charging lithium ions

4.2v is typical for charging, some hard core battery guys will suggest 4.1v
But after charging the battery will settle down to it's 3.7v or so. depends on the chemistry.
many of these cells have a really long life if charged properly. I been messing with them a while now.

Re: slippery screen

I wish some screens had a matt finish like some laptops, I hate the shinny glass, half the time it's like looking into a mirror, hard to see at times, especially if there is a light fixture is above your head. even worse if your outside.
