The audio that I am using is from a RCA jack.. is that a standard audio signal or is it encrypted?

thanks VernGraner , well, thought I was heading down the right path.. but it doesnt look so! I knew it couldnt be that easy! :x An analog switch is what I need. I cant use a mechanical switch for this project. Needs to be silent, low power no buttons. Looks like I have a lot of extra NPN transistors...

Switch from two audio sources

I have two audio sources and would like to switch [one on / one off] time-to-time. I have a way to do this with two transistors per L/R channel.. that means I have 2 I/O's from my micro going to a base of a transistor. I'm not sure the best way to do this... I'm sure I could invert two of the I/O's ...

I would recommend using java over any visual studio if you have a linux based system.

Code can be ported over cleanly to both windows and linux.

My TV is going, going....

almost gone. I have a small tube tv in my bedroom. When I turn it on the middle line will appear and the rest of the screen will be blank. After a few min , the screen will pop up.
