Hey--- slow down a bit, guys... Hollow spots may be far from the ground.. as I found on another of mine. How can you test for them? Look for lesions! ...but if treadmills are such common discardss... why not wait for another 'freebie' ?<p>I think it answers my small conveyor problem... in order to compost garden waste, it can lift the clippings 2-3 feet to the top of the pile... and I can shovel from the bottom (onto the belt) to turn the compost...

Battery use - I find I can go through plenty of AA batteries - and that my remote controls do NOT need fresh ones to work well... so batteries get cycled from walkman/radio/camera to the remotes after the motors and amps no longer get sufficient power.<p>(but thrn, EE's would know that)
