computer short of breath!

I bought my computer new in 2005. When I first go on ebay my computer seems to go back and forth between items and listings ok, but after an hour or so it slows down and can hardly crawl. I just installed 1GB of ram to my existing 256mb. and initially seemed to run better but one day later it is bac...

schematic of current sensing detector circuit

I'm interested in determining the off or on status of my 120 volt ac single phase sump pump that draws 10 amps. when it is running. I would like to use a current sensing transformer to determine its off or on status and in turn control a relay that will turn on an led. So far I haven't been able to ...

Re: common lcd tv service problems

Thanks for the replies. I wonder if there any
books out there that describe how these sets are
constructed and how their problems are diagnosed?

Re: Need help with schematic on page 42-N&V Feb.2009

Thanks Steve for your help. If that relay
draws 90ma I may need 6 volts from an ac supply.

Wonder if anyone has completed this circuit and how it works?

Need help with schematic on page 42-N&V Feb.2009

What would be the voltage and current
requirements of this circuit? Radio Shack
dealer said the relay number is not theirs.
What relay could be used and how would it
be wired in this circuit? What is SV2?
Thanks Paul

How to watch UTUBE on a dial up server.

I have a dial up server and get on
between 16 and 30KBS. When I
attempt to watch UTUBE you see
short periods them reloads. Is there
anyway to be able to see UTUBE
without all of these interruptions?
Thanks Paul

WHITISH COATING ON HANDLES OF NUT DRIVERS IN STORAGE?

My nut drivers have been in a metal cabinet and no nicads in this area. I've notice this whitish coating for at least 10 years. I agree does not
seem to effect the handles. Thanks. Paul

WHITISH COATING ON HANDLES OF NUT DRIVERS IN STORAGE?

I stored some nut drivers in the basement(dry storage) and about a year later found they had a whitish coating on the handles. What causes this and is there a way of preventing it from happening? Thanks Paul

I live in a valley and about 3 years ago the basement and home shop filled with water as well as our water pump room-I live on a farm. They said it was just the "100 year flood" well I have been having a "flood" or 2 or 3 every year since that time. When the water starts to rise from rains I bring o...

sump pump monitor

My sump pump is located in the basement and I cannot hear it turn on. I would like to make a circuit that would detect when it goes on and alert me upstairs with a visual and aural alarm. I do not want to open the unit and void the warranty. The pump is 120 volts ac and draws about 5 amps ac. Any id...
