Re: adjustable l-10 minute timer on an hourly basis

Thanks for the suggestions. This timer does not have to be precise just go on once every hour and be able to vary the time on from 1-10 minutes. Will have to look for the timer module mentioned above. I looked into the sprinkler timer but could not find an unit because "out of season" at this time. ...

adjustable l-10 minute timer on an hourly basis

I need a timer that will go on hourly with an adjustable time on interval from one to ten minutes. Local hardware store timers will go on hourly but fifteen minutes is the shortest interval. I'm looking for a circuit that will close a relay to power a small 120 volt water purmp. Any ideas? Thanks Paul

Can you pickup wifi with an antenna, amplify the signal, and send the wifi

Thanks Paul

cleaning battery contacts in solid state devices

When solid state radios and cameras get older there seems
to be a barrier??? that forms on the battery contacts in these
devices and interferes with their operation. Even new batteries
don't seem to help. What can be done to clean these
contacts. Thanks Paul

Re: Narco superhomer aircraft radio

Thanks for the replies. I have also found similar references.
I was looking for someone who had actually made the conversion.
I have the receiver but wondered what other equipment is necessary
to get it to receive.

Re: is there a fix?

Thanks for the excellent fixes. After I submitted my question on the forum I thought of some thing I had not considered before. That's to take a steel or plated copper washer and enlarge the hole to fit over the broken section, solder the washer to the stub, fill the hole with fine copper wire and fi...

is there a fix?

Going over some items for the hamfest I found my radio with telescoping antenna had the top portion broken off leaving a ragged end. I know the right fix is to buy a new antenna and install it. Re: sleepy dvd player

Thanks for the responses. I tried running the dvd in my computer
but would not play. In the light of my computer room I see there
is a blemish like a groove on the underside of the disc this I
suspect is the cause. I tried the google search but didn't find a
recall of this dvd. Paul

Around Christmas time(2008) I bought a dvd "COLLATERAL" from the the largest retailer. I recently tried to view it on my dvd player connected to my tv but it would only say "loading". I tried several times to play it but couldn't get past loading. Yes the player does play other dvds ok. Any suggesti...
