Re: Vernitron Transducer for 40hz Branson ultrasonic cleaner

Steve- I think you'll find replacing the transducers difficult because of the proprietary adhesives Branson claims to use for attachment of the ceramic to the steel tub. That energy-coupling joint is what makes the whole transduction effect possible, and getting your hands on the ceramic elements is...

Re: i need help finding a remote control module ( bluetooth

Random comments:

hehe- haklesup: "Audrino". I wonder if they considered that name before settling on, "Arduino"?

The Arduino does have a "Serial Monitor" output also. Handy for debugging code.

I wish there was a Fry's in every city!

Re: Cash for Code

Have to mate it with the audio amp/pulse generator, and figure out gain and some pulse processing.
Acoustics are not as easy as it "sounds"! (see what I did there?)

Re: Spam Madness?

Thanks haklesup- using that blacklist link, I find out my PC has been hijacked.
Blacklisted from Spamhaus ZEN.
Can't be sure it's a real threat though, as I use these regularly:
Malwarebytes
CCleaner
Spybot

Should I be worried?

Re: i need help finding a remote control module ( bluetooth

Instead of bluetooth, could you go with a conventional AM transmitter/receiver, and let the Arduino sort out the digits at the receiver? This gadget comes to mind: http://www.ebay.com/itm/16CH-DTMF-MT8870-Audio-Decoder-Smart-Home-Controller-Voice-Mobile-Phone-Control/271531889237?_trksid=p2141725.c1...

Re: Cash for Code

Agreed CeaSaR. I have a simple analog circuit which produces a short 5 volt square pulse for every analog pulse from the microphone to trigger the Arduino. That consistency will help establish clean trigger start/stop times for measuring the transit time. I can check the actual displayed velocity wi...

Re: Cash for Code

True CeaSaR, but in the normal training environment, sounds are usually just the shot and the clang. It's boringly quiet, or should be anyway. To your point, the conversion of analog pulse to digital pulse is not trivial. There may be some triggering issues down the road that won't show up until the...

Re: Cash for Code

Yes dyarker, "easier" is what I'm all about! :) The projectile in question is a pellet from an airgun. There's a number of reasons why the pellet velocity drops, and is sometimes unknown until after many shots have been made with a defective gun. Some are compressed air powered, some liquid carbon d...

Re: Cash for Code

Thanks for that info, but pursuing the "how to" of coding and making it work for me is the laborious part of what I was trying to avoid. Call me lazy, but I'm hoping to have a programmer do that for me. I'm looking for a finished product here, and not so much as an educational project. Appreciate yo...

Re: Cash for Code

OK, here goes: AUDIO CHRONOMETER- (Based on an Arduino Uno and the DigitShield)* This device displays the velocity of a projectile from its acoustic signature of firing and hitting an audible target. There are two sound pulses; the shot, and the sound of the target hit. The Chronometers microphone i...

Cash for Code

I'm looking for somebody to write code for an Arduino/DigitShield project. Ever notice some people write it like it was English, and some people (me), stumble around with it, never learning enough of it to write a program? Thus, this offer. I have a project, and after hearing how simple it is, let m...

Lenp, I sent you a PM, but the way this forum has been running, I can't be sure you received it.
Could you check, and get back to me?
Thanks!
