Re: Trinitron Foldover

OK, I pulled the main board out. There is a section silk screened VERT and it includes a shielded section includes a 47uF 35V electrolytic cap, a ceramic cap and a resistor, under the board, tacked on as if an after thought is another 47uF 35V cap and a milar or polyester cap. Do you think the elect...

Re: USB - APRS?

Thanks again for trying, but no, that won't work either. It has a USB port for connecting to a computer, but the "Build in GPS RX and TX port" is not USB.

Re: Wireless phone extension

The more I think about it, the more I thing what you really want is a wireless network, which would probably cost about the same as the way your heading, and probably be more successful.... but to answer your questions (as if i were qualified to do so): I don't thing it matters, base/handset. It wou...

Re: USB - APRS?

Thanks Jolly, that isn't what I want. What I want is a small device that talks to such a GPS and converts the information from the GPS to amateur radio packet tones.

Re: Wireless phone extension

I have never tried it, but these folks: http://www.customphones.com/productCat46070.ctlg claim to be able to extend the range of cordless phones. as far as the modem connections go...there are plenty of cordless phones that are associated with hands free type head sets. If you can't find one with th...

USB - APRS?

This doohickey http://n1vg.net/opentracker/ almost does what I want. The problem is that it wants to talk to a GPS receiver via RS-232. Is anyone aware of a similar item that would agree to talk to a GPS receiver via USB? The specific GPS receiver I have in mind is the Pharos Gps-360 that comes with...

Trinitron Foldover

I'm pretty sure this problem isn't specific to Sonys...but my Sony is exhibiting it. The top 25 - 33 percent of the screen has a video haze over it. That is, it appears that the top few scan lines are being relocated from the top of the picture to progressively lower portions of the display. For exa...

While shepherds kept their watching Over silent flocks by night Behold throughout the heavens There shone a holy light . Go, tel...

If you look at the tools/options/general tab you will see that delete cookies button is included in the temporary internet files area. Therefore, I would assume that the --temporary internet files selectable option (which does NOT work for you)-- would also not work to delete cookies. :-)

Re: Wireless phone extension

Where do you have the base station for the cordless phone? Could you move it to an upper floor or add a second base unit located in the attic? Altitude should extend your range. You might also be able to build a beam antenna for a spare base unit and aim it at your secondary structure.

Re: Logic Help Please

You haven't fully described what you want to happen. For example, using your original chart for conversation purposes, what do you want to happen if BOTH reed 1 and 8 close? 3456 close or nothing closes because its not JUST reed 1 or JUST reed 8?
Thats a retorical question.
I suggest you change ...
