HighFrequency,
You and Chris have reminded me of one of my favorite lines from The Matrix:
Morpheus to Neo:
“If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain …your mind makes it real”

Re: Portable PA System
Enzo,
I appreciate your concern for the others.
Thanks for the suggestion about the bullhorn but that is not the sound I am looking for. I like the sound of a nice loud PA system.
However, I do like your idea about the car horn and battery.

Portable PA System
Fellow Forum Members,
I am interested in building a portable PA system, something really loud that I can use at my boy's little league games or other similar type events (I will try not to be too abnoxious with it).
Here is what I have in mind:
1. 12" speaker 2. microphone 3. amplifier (k...

Re: down dirty inverter advice needed
Why is the device called an "invertor"? What is being inverted? Is there a better word for what the device is doing?

magnetic field sensor
I need to measure the relative strengh of a bar magnet vs distance from the sensor. I think need a magnetic field sensor that can be used to measure the relative strength of a magnetic field. The Hall sensors from Radio Shack are switches, I don't want a switch. I need a sensor that is simple and th...

isomk:
be carefull when you buy stamp kits, many of the kits out there are very incomplete and very expensive, often they dont even have the stamp itself but only the project board with a bagfull of components for earth experiments or some other specifc use. I believe a complete kit (BS2 and board...
