Does anyone know where I can find datasheets on the following chips. They are in a cobra telephone. The first is a mc2833p. The second is a mc3361p. The third is a FUNAI 42c70n8336. It also has 14dw521 9005H on it.
Thanks

Re: adc0804
Ron, You have been a great help. After playing with the circuit, I set up .75volts on my ref. (pin 9). After working through the math, this gave me .0058 for 8 bit resolution. It appears to work within .5 of a degree tolerance. Now, I am going to feed this to a pic and make a LCD readout of it. Than...

Re: adc0804
Thanks Ron. I was getting the right output, just reading the leds wrong. Is it possible to get an a/d chip to read the third digit of the input to give me a more accurate answer?

adc0804
I need help understanding the output of an adc0804. I hooked up the test circuit on page 24 of the data sheet. My Vi+ was 750mV coming from a lm34 temp. sensor. My Vref was 2.56V. My Vi- was tied to ground. The led output was from MSB to LSB 11011011. How do I read this binary number. The data sheet...

Re: pic with tx/rx
Thanks, I only need simplex transmission. Can you give me some places to look for some rf modules that are reasonable for this application? I am going to use a 16f877 pic.

pic with tx/rx
Hello All. I really enjoy reading and learning from this forum. I am working on a wireless thermometer. I want to have the sensor in the swimming pool. A Lm35dz connected to a pic and then to a transmitt module. I would like to send this data inside the house to a reciever module connected to a pic ...

Re: transmitter and receiver
Thanks for the idea. A robot is what the device is for. We built a simple bjt transmitter which would transmit over the lower fm radio band which worked pretty well, but I am not sure what the law is as far as how far you are allowed to transmit. That is what I originally had in mind to use but I ju...

transmitter and receiver
Can anyone lead me in the direction of a simple schematic of a voice transmitter and receiver which I could use to talk for a distance of about 100 ft or so. I want to put the receiver in a toy and be able to hold the transmitter at the back of a room. Thanks
