Re: Using a sound chip with a PIC or is there a kit?

Would a radio shack voice recorder module work for you? Their $10 each so it would be costly to get 8. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102855 I dont think there's anything else out there that's as simple as those modules. Every other idea I have at least is having to use a cod...

Re: NAS solutions

I got my system down to 66W at full usage. 54W while Idle. and 48W when it goes into standby. It will cost me between $6.18 and $4.49 in power usage a month. And this is with only a >68% efficient PSU. I think I can improve on those numbers if I get a 80+ certified PSU. Im very happy with it! Does a...

Re: NAS solutions

I finally got around to getting a NAS. after weighing all the options, i changed my mind and actually decided to go with a freenas system. I was able to purchase a FULL system from newegg for ~$220, with a 1TB drive. This is excluding a case and PSU because I had one already available. I must say, I...

AVR TWI/i2c

EDIT : I have solved my issues and the posted code is now working for anyone interested. I'm having problems using an AVR to interface with a LIS3LV02DL accelerometer via TWI. I cant seem to get the code right on the AVR to do this. What I have was mostly taken directly from the AVR data sheet for ...

Re: Trying to read PM on new forum

my guess is he deleted it after sending it, before you read it. i THINK it works like this: When you send a PM in phpBB it dosent work like email where you send it and thats that. It puts it in your outbox , and waits for the person to read it. When they read it it moves it to your sent messages . I...

That free nas thing sounds neat but I dont have any drives layin around, and it would probably cost more at this point to get IDE drives in the sizes i need than SATA

A place where I can tell all the computers in my house to backup and also store data so I can work from any computer in my house without much hassle. what movie? Use your mouse to roll over the link, then click... Note: The new and improved phpBB skin in use does not highlight the hypertext. Further, changing the hypertext to bold or to a new colour does not stick. However, underline does (but required extra work to implement) This was reported ...

Re: Opinion about Probotix CNC Machines

If the information provided by the company is wrong, he has all the reason to be upset. He says the website said the product was ready to ship immediately, after not hearing anything after 2 weeks I would be upset too. It doesn't matter to the company is a 1 man shop or huge production, if you say y...
