Hi,
Is there an RSS feed for the Nuts & Volts blog?
Thanks,
Bob

New web site for finding the cheapest PCB manufacturer
Hi, Every time I work on a new project, I spend a lot of time shopping around for the cheapest PCB manufacturer. Turns out, it varies based on the board's specs. To simplify things, I've make a web site where you enter the size, layers, solder mask color, and quantity of your boards, and it tells yo...

Thanks to all
Thank you all for your advice. It does, indeed, seem easier to just stick with a constant voltage and use PWM. My motive for exploring the LM317 alternative was that it seemed as if it would be cool to replace a big chunk of code with a single semiconductor. But if it won't work well, that settles t...

Help on photoresistor - how to reverse?
Hi, I'm designing my first circuit - a PIC controlled digital clock. The PIC is currently sensing a photo resistor via A/D and changing the brightness of the LEDs with PWM. But I had an idea of a different way to do it... The PIC can operate at 3.3V or less. The LEDs need 2.7V. I'm currently driving...
