I have gotten my best results cleaning the Epson print heads using a mix 50/50 of isopropanol alcohol and water. Works well if you can get a syringe to force the mixture through.

Re: what parts to make the power supply built?
The power supply as drawn does have a regulated voltage output adjusted by R2 and R3 (+ Voltage and - Voltage respectively). The LM 317 being a positive regulator and the LM337 being a negative regulator. The supply is not designed for large current. Note the transformer used.

Re: Motor Driven Version of This Device
Either buy used or rent from a medical supply store. Several years ago when I had neck surgery I went out and bought a large fully motorized recliner that was great. I slept in that thing about 5 weeks. It was like a bed for me.

Re: 556 timer help...
Hi Ya DAC Would it be like the TENS2 circuit linked on the bottom of this page ? They use a pair of 555s driving a MOSFET and get about 120 volts. The circuits for muscle stimulation are called TENS Simulators or TENS machines. I believe they also can be had relatively inexpensive at drug stores. Ron

There are also several add on that will do it like this one:
RonA very simple tabbed browsing extension that loads your homepage when you open a new tab. If you have multiple homepages, the first is chosen.

Re: firefox question
I use FF 8.0 and have it set up. Not sure how I went about it but this link looks familiar. When I open a new tab (clicking the + sign) the tab opens and goes to my home page.

Hi Lemp While I have not messed with it lately I have used and like Microsoft InfoPath which is now at version 2010 I believe. Depending on what you call inexpensive it retails solo at about $229 from Microsoft and was included in the higher end Microsoft Office bundles. One nice feature is it works...

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
A belated Happy Thanksgiving wish to all. Wow another year has passed. It was a great day, my son and grandson were up for a visit and for Cleveland we are enjoying some unseasonably warm sunny weather. A great meal complimented with great beer and finally a good cigar after dinner.
