You might have guessed by my other post that I'm hoping I might use this as a flip flop circuit. It's a three relay board out of a Honda Civic. Nippon Denso. 12vdc. Underdash... probably for doorlocks or blower relay or something like that. The resistors intrigued me as well as the rationelle for pu...

MrAl, you asked about using a hot air gun. I don't have a reflow oven, and I could not fix a USB wifi card that had suffered a heavy blow recently. The little board was damaged somewhere that could not be determined by meter or poking/prodding the smds. I threw it in the trash. Later that evening I ...

I do need that feature. Looking at that diagram it does look like it will default when power is taken away. For my project, if the operator chooses A, when the machine is turned on again, A must still be that state. I'm more and more convinced that this is going to be a mechanical solution. So far i...

Oh, and externet I never really did answer. The coil voltage/current is going to have to be in line with the tolerance of available tactile switches. 12v or less and low current (unless I'm going to go adding another relay yet between the tact switch and the latching relay.. whew!) The dpdt contacts...

fripster, First of all, sincerely thank you very much for assisting me in the search. But I noticed that site early on too. On the one hand, using four relays to accomplish this as in one example is completely negating the point of keeping down the size dimensions and weight, especially when, after ...

The skinny... I am adding a process to an inverter ac/dc tig machine. The machine uses very powerful HF for arc start and maintainence. Some of the electronics that I've already used in this project, my led meters for instance, are already giving me headaches as I seek to isolate/shield them from th...

slkdflskdfldssfdsjk Is a turbo switch different from a latching pushbutton switch that I can purchase from digikey? I can't use a latching pushbutton switch on this panel. I need to use a momentary spst. I have to do this. This is a parameter that cannot be gotten around. What is a 'turbo' switch? I...

pcb impulse relay? ...or 'stepper', 'ratchet', 'sequencing'

It's the nomenclature that's messing with me I'm sure. I want to operate a dpdt relay, in both states, with one, single, solitary momentary switch. No separate electronic circuits. No programmable pcb varieties. No microcontrollers whatsoever. With respect to Occam, I just refuse to install another ...
