Interpreting error messages.

smile: Hi! I was wondering if it would be possible to have an error section on this forum. If I got an error message on an Ardunio project and I did not understand it I would like to learn the terminology of any error messages so I can understand it and be able to correct my error. Thanks Frank fg

Ardunio Class 101 chapter 5, Set an Angle on servo

 Hi! Love your articles on Ardunio. I did all the Labs 1,2,&3. Lab 3 however did not do so while. I used a Laptop to do the labs, Setting an angle on a servomotor did not do go. At first it went to 180 degrees, then I typed several degrees points such as 45,90,180. and so on, from the seria...

 Hi! Al The slave program was not set up to stop the motors. But it was set up to control the speed via A/D converter using the master keypad. such as 010 to slow it down to its lowest speed or 248 to go faster. The idea is to rewrite the slave program so it would take the three 'ooo' charact...

No Flow Chart

 Hi! Al I been out on an unexpected vaction, but I'm back now, ready to get with it. My first objective is to capture the three '000' zero characters fron RS-232 receiver rcreg. from the slave PIC16F88. As explained above, the Master will send the speed control value to the Slave. The way it ...

The programs work except that I want to modify them to suit my purpose. And that were the problem starts. There is ...

 Hi! Al I took the servo apart and yes it has circuitry inside. I like to do my own trouble shooting but in this case I might just send it out to get fix. But before I do I’ll see if I can get a schematic for it. It’s all SMT circuitry now days and that would give me some problems, both i...

 Hi! Al Well I got my project working up to the servo steering phase, would you believe it, it was the servo that was bad. The trailing edge measured 1.2 ms the stop position, and the +/- 90 degrees measured 1.22 ms which was totally not right. It was supper sensitive to the touch, so I repla...

 Hi! Al I'v heard so much about servo's, I thought I would do some experiments and it was great, However the servo just went +/- 90 degrees. I'm using it to steer a robot, this robot will carry an arm that I have which will pick up wooden blocks and who knows maybe bring my coffee. At 50 Hz i...

 Hi! Al Good show, as they say, must have stared at the schematic several times and not notice that. By the way pin 6 & 7 are jumpered under the pc board. Al being we are back to this circuit, I'm trying to get the servo to run more smoother and it won't cooperate with me. I thought maybe...
