i've gottem a free sample of the MAX232. i was thinking of using one of the smaller pics(8 pin or 16 pin i don't know exact names) becasue the circuit will have to fit in a small space

help with pic

i am new to programming the pic microcontroller. I need help wiht a project. I would like to use the adc to convert voltage to serial data i.e 9.5 volts are coming in so it outputs 9.5 volts. my voltage range would be from 0-20. also does the pic output TTL or RS232 serial data

pneumatic cylinder

does anybody know where i can get a pneumatic cylinder similar (or the smame) as the one seen on page 470 of the robot builders bonaza third edition?

ps i do not want to use lego cylinders

in aditon does anybody know where I can get the valve from page 84 in the january issue of nuts and volts

wold it be possible to use the screen from a SGH-X497 (Samsung) in a project. Displaying images, text either from a Micro-controller or from a computer. has anybody done this?

does anoybody know of a circuit that would act as a Voltage to serail data converter. for example I have it hooked up to a batetry and it take the volteg of the battery and outputs the voltage as serial data.
