I would start by going to the parallax site and downloading "what is a microcontroller' and then looking at the help page in the editor about the PWM command. That should get you started.

A little bit more information would help. What code are you trying to compile and what compiler are you using? What chip and how do you have it hooked up? Things like that.

I have two 16 pin soic devices marked:

1031A
RQ
0311

but I can't remember what they are and find nothing at the Analog Devices site. Can someone help?
