Re: VGA signal 'splitter' ?

I was thinking of multiple TFT LCD screens .... They will be digital monitors So the satellite monitors have DVI connectors ? I'm trying to picture a block diagram of what has been discussed here. .... 1) A digital SVGA signal coming from a given output at a high rate of resolution. 2) This image i...

Re: VGA signal 'splitter' ?

Basically, a normal VGA signal is passed out of the system at a high resolution rate. I'm going to have several monitors that have lower resolution, and I want to make a multi-monitor setup. What I need here is a way to read the incoming VGA signal and chop it into a bunch of smaller 'squares' of r...

VGA signal 'splitter' ?

I know these exist for sale but I am looking at building something that would require a more custom solution. Basically, a normal VGA signal is passed out of the system at a high resolution rate. I'm going to have several monitors that have lower resolution, and I want to make a multi-monitor setup....

Thanks for the links, I'll have to check them out :) The coils are electric guitar pickups. Basically, humbuckers, which are two single coils connected together. Basically there are several ways to connect them, and wiring two of them up to provide all possible configurations using regular switches ...

Which micro controller suits this project?

I'd like to design a project where I would have a micro controller that would take as input a few switches/potentiometers, say 3 or 4 of each max. The output would be to an optional LCD screen (3 line etc), and it would control the analog switching of a bunch of coils that I have. This will be my fi...

DIY EPROM programmer

I have need to program some 27C256 and 27C512 EPROM chips.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a DIY project where I could build the programmer, or is it just cheaper to buy one?

Thanks :)

Off the hook

Hey all, I've been looking for a sound clip as well as a circuit that would generate the sound that you used to hear in the 80s if you left your phone off the hook for an extended period of time. This is not like the current sound you'll hear, but a constant sound that would increase and decrease in...

Hey no worries guys, and I haven't gone anywhere :) I've been rather busy so haven't had a chance to reply. Ian, I had already checked out BEI, I should have mentioned. Unfortunately, they don't have any of the 25-0-25 in stock and it would be expensive to order because of that. I did speak to your ...

Toroidal Transformers in Canada?

Hi all.. I've been looking for a good source of toroidal transformers in Canada that match my requirements of a 25-0-25 VAC at 150VA (3A) minimum. So far the only place I've found is Plitron, but they are rather expensive. I'm sure their product is worth it, however I'd rather go for something a lit...
