this wont help you much, however the OOPic version 2.0 board has a function specifically written to handle polaroid range finders.

Hello, I have an oopic micro controller, and a GPS that outputs Nmea code. I wonder if anyone has made a text parser for a microcontroller, so I can interface the GPS to drive the servos to guide the airplane waypoint to waypoint?
