Re: DIY pancake slip ring

But brings me back to the question so frustrating me . Where can I buy ( eg model car ) spring electrical pick ups ? Check E-bay, Craigslist, and several slot car hobby sites. Check out local garage sales, or flea markets. You can find complete sets with the track, cars, hand speed controllers, and...

Re: DIY pancake slip ring

Sorry to be responding so late, but I've been having a lot of family issues going on. I don't know how big this ring has to be. But how about using old HO-Gauge Slot-Car Track? https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-q0oivn9r3h/images/stencil/1280x1280/products/2746/3415/SND-AFX70603-2__92070.1562599...

Re: Trying to find / download a service manual...

Yeah... but the need for a great manual site is always there... I mostly wanted to put the BAMA site out there... Nice find. But, the site is just starting out. So, what they have, is not a lot. And it seems to be mostly Test Equipment, and Ham Radio Schematics. I've come across some other sites, t...

Re: SPAM Attack

ARGH!!!!

It's bad enough that I get Phishing attacks on my home phone line, and even my cell phone.
But this is just all out harassment!

I may have to go off the grid, just to get away from it!

Re: Help to find Battery

Hmmm.........

I've been finding 1.2V 1/3 AAA 140ma Cells.
Image
Could you stack these into stacks of 3 = 3.6V, and then parallel 3 stacks together to up the amperes?

Re: How to Explain It...

Take a look at this schematic. https://www.eleccircuit.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/15V-Dual-power-supply-circuit-diagram-using-7815-7915-600x338.png Here the S1 ON-OFF switch, and the F1 Fuse are on the (Line-HOT) Primary winding of the Transformer. So, there is no AC flowing when the S1 switch i...

Re: Help to find Battery

Quote Johnny Five: "More Input!" What is the device that this battery pack is in? Are there numbers on the battery pack? What is the physical size of the pack? Is it NICAD, NIMH, LION? What are the cells rated at? {A picture of it would be nice.} Could you use some higher capacity, but physi...

Re: Are old magazines available in compact disc ?

Externet, Are you still looking for the old issues of Nuts & Volts? I have 1999 to 2003 on CD, in JPEG Format. I was going to do my whole collection{1993-2004}. But I was missing one or two issues, or the magazines had faded, or were so badly damaged from getting damp. That I just quit scanning them...

You should check the other videos that go about repair of the APC UPS Models. I gave them a quick scan, {Though there were quite a few that I probably skipped ove...

Re: Ground Loop Problem

Here is a diagram for wiring two breaker boxes together. https://www.mytractorforum.com/attachments/sub-panel-b-jpg.210555/ I do still need to check the electrical receptacles for proper grounding - I would hope with this being a new home with modern wiring, that shouldn't be a problem! Yes! You sho...
