Like it says.... it's distance limited (as of today). Maybe when it can work over longer distances then it may compete. Then it will depend on cost. The cheaper solution (that gets the job done) always wins. However, I'm sure that applications will be developed for this new technology that could nev...

Depending on how you fabricate your boards, you need a fairly precise proces s to get your footprints accurate. Having said that, working on FR4 substrate and using 0402 footprint components you should be able to operate up to 2 or 3 GHz. If you want to go higher then you now can get 0201 footprint ...

Chris, I don't need to be school'd by you. I have many years of formal university level education in electrical engineering specifically in electronics. I get paid alot of money to design electronics. I have fine tuned my education in electronics by designing circuits for many years. I really doubt ...

Chris, During my travels I have encountered people that approach electronics from two directions. One being from a physics (scientific approach) and another being from an electrical engineering approach. Both trains of thought will (at the end of the day) arrive at the same answer or solution. Someo...

Timing is everything? Everybody considers the three or four quadrants of ohms law? [wow?] So why is time always left out? Mentality? [small ones] Some 3d genius said this is all there is to electronics,...mean while Einstien said wake up? Were still snoozing ,....duhhh Move on dummies.... You're ma...

Some circuits, the capacitor is an integral part of the design. Like building a house... how do you know if it needs a roof.... well it's not a house without the roof! Besides those types of circuits, if you build a circuit you have to give it a power supply. Alot of times you want an AC ground and ...
